Christmas dinner at the downtown, this tuesday!!

Hello there!

This tuesday we will make one of our fine homemade dinners again. A proper christmas turkey dinner with a glass of wine. You can get your tickets at the downtown reception now! They’re only 5 euro’s a person. So make sure your belly is nice, warm and stuffed this christmas and book your ticket now!

Also; during Christmas day we will have a drink special at the downtown bar. How’bout a nice hot chocolate with some baileys?? Or do you prefer it with coffee?? However, we will make it! Have some marshmellows on the side and sit at the bar with us, watching one of your favourite movies!!

SINTERKLAAS

You want to experience some Dutch culture??? The 5th of December (or the 4th at nighttime) Sinterklaas, our Dutch version of Santa Claus, will be walking over the Amsterdam roofs with his white horse and his black petes, throwing presents through the chimneys! But only if you behaved…otherwise they will take you to their residence in Spain!

In the Flying Pig Uptown you can truly experience this tradition…
On the 4th of December, put your shoe on a good spot and if you are smart, put some food in there for the Sint and his horse and sing some nice songs….hopefully you will find a nice present in your shoe on the 5th in the morning!
