HALLOWEEN @ the uptown flying pig bar!
Our favourite party of the year is coming closer: HALLOWEEN!
We’ll be celebrating this halloween again in our bar, with monster decorations, horror outfits and scary drink specials…
On Wednesday and Thursday we put on a scary movie at 2.30 pm, accompanied by free popcorn and a “tosti with pint” special: only €5,-!
Our Halloween specials:
Bloody Mary: wodka, tomato juice, tabasco, salt and pepper
Brain Damage: Peach shnaps, baileys and cassis..
JAGERMEISTER ONLY 2 EURO!!

Thursday 30-10 @ 7pm: Pumpkin soup dinner with bread, for only 3 euro

When you’re coming to the Pig you don’t need to worry at all: in the Flying Pig Uptown Bar daily specials will make sure that none of your nights will be the same… Different specials will guarantee a blast every single night!
This all starts on MANIC MONDAY with cheap cocktails – “Just shake it baby!”. We all know that two is often better than one, therefore TWO FOR TUESDAY is brought into life - a 2 for 1 Happy Hour deal, can it get any better? WEDNESDAY is a special day hanging out in the middle of the week… On this day we do theme parties, drinking games or other specialties that tickle our fancy!
Still thirsty?? Then don’t miss THIRSTY THIRSDAY – Get 2 pitchers for the price of 1, or go with the flow with a delicious Thai Bucket… – Share the fun! Monday Night Movies
We are currently in the process of nailing our large projector screen onto one of the walls of The Beach Hostel. Once we have the thing secure, and are sure that it won’t budge, we will be screening top movies every Monday night!
In the meantime check the forums and blogs for updates, and send us feedback!
DJ Nights
We are currently in the middle of serious discussions with regards to a weekly DJ night. The DJ night will be fronted by our resident DJ, playing an educated mix of trip-hop, house, electro, and minimal techno, with a little b-boy thrown in for good measure. We plan to open the virtual decks to anyone with a decent mp3 collection, and a vague understanding of how to beat match.

Drinking Games
Involve yourself in a variety of hideously fun drinking games in the hostel surf bar. Favourites include drinking Jenga and drink while you think!
Music Request Nights
Anyone who would like to request a few favourite tunes can do so. Just pick up a pen and fill out the music request forms at the bar!
