Matt SmithMarijuana or Mushrooms?

For many visiting Amsterdam the word marijuana, or one of its thousand slang terms, appears somewhere on their itinerary. For now at least, it's completely legal for consumption inside one of the many coffee shops around town. I feel fairly confident that if you're reading this, there's little to no chance that the effects of this plant are a mystery to you. Nonetheless, your time with 'Mary Jane' will certainly vary - depending on what you buy and how you choose to ingest it. In general however - you're probably in for a happy time.

Matt Smith Flagging: Sexual Conquests on a Global Scale

People like to collect things. Most of the time it involves something mundane with a great amount of arbitrary value assigned to it. However, like any good drug, there's a media smear campaign against it. A conservative idea has surfaced that's trying to sully the image of the beautifully sinful city we all know and love. Sure, maybe the purchase of a ticket to Amsterdam should come with a disclaimer, but it should be something along the lines of...

Pig recipes

Yummie for my Tummy!

The Flying Pig is proud of the fact that we have a self service kitchen in all of our Amsterdam Hostels..  which is kind of unique here in Amsterdam!

Our Kitchen’s are fully equipped so you will be able to cook up something nice.. if you have the time of course. So if you have proudly whipped up something in the Pig kitchen and want to share it, this is to place to gloat. Also improvised Free-food-shelf recipes are more than welcome!

If (sadly) you are not cooking at The Pig and you want to help out your fellow kitchen clumsy Piggies you can

drop some recepies on our facebook wall

The best ones will be put onto our website .
