Music

Of course one of the main reasons to visit this festival is because of the amazing line-up, it’s not called Music On for nothing. Whether you choose to go on Saturday, Sunday or even the whole weekend, one thing is for sure: you will be hearing banging beats and amazing tunes from one of the many great artists taking on the stages. Just picture this: dancing under the sun while enjoying incredible sets from artists like Apollonia, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, Paco Osuna, Nic Fanciulli and Oxia. Can’t get any better, right?

Location

This year, Music On takes you to Havenpark, Amsterdam. It’s a rather new festival area in the north west of the city. In this ideal festival location you will find plenty of space and green areas, with an industrial touch: best of both worlds. Havenpark is located next to the harbours, about a 10 minute train journey from Centraal station which is just 5 minutes walk from our Flying Pig Downtown hostel - an ideal place to base yourself. It’s easily accessible by public transport, just get yourself to the Sloterdijk station and from there, it’s only a 5 minute walk.

Crowd

Whether you get your friend squad together to go to this amazing event or decide to go alone, you will definitely meet some cool new people on the weekend of the festival. The loyal Music On public, or should we say family, is known for being enthusiastic and full of energy. You will be making new friends and amazing memories with the cool people you’ll meet there. There will be obviously many locals, but also a lot of international music lovers around, because Music On is known and loved by many people around the globe. Chilled vibes

The great thing about festivals is that it’s outdoors, you can enjoy the rays of the sun while being amongst nature. The Music On organization makes sure there are enough chill areas in the outdoors for you to enjoy your relaxing break of all the incredible music madness. Do you see yourself chilling around the festival site already: enjoying a nice cold drink, under the hot sun while swinging in a hammock and enjoying some good company… Sounds like a great time, doesn’t it?
